Sponsorship
Sponsorship"is a business relationship between a provider of funds, resources or services and an individual, event or organisation which offers in return some rights and associations that may be used for commercial advantage”.
4 steps in process:
- Setting up a sponsorship plan that outlines the various options available to sponsors
- Sponsorship proposal – is developed to target a sponsor or group of sponsors.
- Sponsorship agreement – a formalized partnership agreement securing the sponsorship for your club/Association
- Final checklist to ensure that the process is complete.

- Planning is essential to be prepared and know what you want from a sponsor and what you can offer in return.
- Identify what you need sponsorship for and why you require sponsorship and how does your club best service it.
