Adam Ashley-Cooper stamped himself as one of rugby’s hottest properties in 2007. The versatile utility back covered fullback, wing and outside centre, playing every match for the Brumbies in the Super 14 season. The 23-year-old won the Australian Investec Super 14 Try of the Year for his stellar 70-metre effort against the Highlanders. He was awarded the 2007 Brumbies’ ‘Best Back’ before establishing himself as part of the Wallabies’ Rugby World Cup squad where he earned a further four Test caps.
