Alastair Baxter’s 2007 was one to remember, the veteran tighthead scoring his first Test try against Canada in the Rugby World Cup before equalling Waratah head coach Ewen McKenzie’s Wallaby propping record of 51 Tests for Australia a week later against England. Baxter has been a cornerstone of the Waratahs pack since coming to prominence during 2002, playing 62 straight Super 14 games, while he’s featured in two World Cups after debuting in the lead up to the 2003 tournament.
