Multi-talented scrumhalf Luke Burgess confi rmed his status as one to watch during 2006 when he was named in the Wallabies Tri-Nations train-on squad after just two appearances at Super 14 level. Lured to Sydney full time after an injury-ravaged four seasons in Canberra, Burgess has long been one of the most outstanding players on the Sydney club scene, helping Eastern Suburbs to a Grand Final berth last season – their first in 16 years.
