Will Caldwell was the iron man of the Waratahs pack in 2007, playing every minute of every match for the year, a remarkable achievement given he’d spent the off season recovering from a broken arm. Caldwell’s feat was born out of adversity, forced to take the reins of the Waratahs lineout after Daniel Vickerman was ruled out for the season through injury. His efforts were rewarded with Australia A selection, for the second time in as many years.
