Pek Cowan made his Super 14 debut off the bench in 2006 but didn’t make an appearance in 2007. He played for Australia at the U21 World Championships in 2005 and 2006, and has also represented his nation at the U19s level. Pek had a strong game for the Perth Spirit in the opening match of Australian Rugby Championship but broke his ankle the following week and sat out the rest of the competition.
